# Research brief: findings from saved sources

Use this to communicate what your sources support. If you need to plan a study,
write a separate research plan covering recruitment, methods, timing and consent.

## Working question
What decision or deliverable will this research inform?

## Sources and scope
- [1] Title, author, original URL, publication date, date checked
- [2] Title, author, original URL, publication date, date checked

Record sample size, source type and relevant limits. Distinguish an interviewee's
opinion from a measured result. Check each original rather than relying only on
an AI summary. Mark incomplete captures or inaccessible originals.

## Supported findings
- Finding, with attribution and a reference immediately beside it. [1]
- A separate supported finding. [2]

## Disagreements and uncertainty
Where do the sources differ? What could explain the difference? Which effects
were not measured? Missing measurements do not prove that an effect is absent.

## My interpretation
Label your own reasoning here. Do not present it as a claim made by a source.

## Next questions
What evidence would help answer the working question? Identify a concrete next
check without inventing a deadline, client commitment or promised outcome.

## Use and next review
Where did you use the brief? What should change before you reuse it?

---
Illustrative example (fictional; not market evidence):

Question: How often should we send research updates?
[1] Interview A: one consultant prefers weekly updates because daily reading
interrupts client work.
[2] Interview B: one consultant prefers daily updates because news changes quickly.

Finding: Interview A favors weekly updates [1]; Interview B favors daily [2].
Limit: Two individual preferences do not establish the best cadence for all users.
Interpretation: A selectable cadence is a hypothesis to test, not a proven result.
Next question: Which cadence do target users choose and actually use over time?
