Terms of Service

1. Operator and eligibility

Vasvel is operated by Rauf Maharramov, an individual based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Contact support@vasvel.com for support, billing or legal questions. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to use Vasvel. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization.

2. Your account

Provide an accurate email address, protect your credentials and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share an account to bypass usage limits or interfere with another person's access.

3. Your content and third-party sources

You retain your rights in material you create. Saving someone else's content does not transfer their copyright to you. Only capture, upload and reuse material you are entitled to use. You give Vasvel the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit to its service providers and display your material to provide the service. We do not receive a right to sell your saved content.

Source websites may restrict access or change their content. Vasvel does not promise to capture every website, obtain unavailable transcripts, bypass access restrictions or archive original video files.

4. AI and research limits

AI summaries, categories, answers and briefs can be incomplete or incorrect. Check the original evidence before relying on or sharing an output. Briefs use bounded excerpts from up to 20 sources; they are not an exhaustive review of your entire library. Original saved text and separately generated AI output are distinct. AI output is not professional medical, legal or financial advice.

5. Trial, price and renewal

The free trial lasts 14 days from email confirmation and requires no payment card. A trial alone does not start automatic billing. Vasvel Pro costs US $9.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Before you subscribe, checkout shows the amount and first billing date. If you subscribe during your trial, the remaining trial is preserved; subscribing does not restart it. By completing subscription checkout, you authorize recurring monthly charges until cancellation.

Current AI limits include 100 Ask requests and 10 brief requests per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Other capture and file limits are shown where they apply. We may restrict abusive usage and will disclose material paid-plan changes before they apply to your next renewal.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel through Settings → Plans & Billing and the Stripe customer portal, without a mandatory survey or phone call. A normal cancellation stops the next renewal and preserves paid access until the end date shown in billing. After access ends, you can still browse, search and export your existing library. New saves and AI features require an active trial or Pro.

For your first subscription payment, you may request a full refund within 14 days by emailing support@vasvel.com from your account email. This is a one-time first-payment policy. Later payments are not automatically refundable for partial use, except where required by law or where we charged you in error. Contact us about billing mistakes. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

7. Account deletion

Export your data before deleting your account in Settings → Data. Confirmed account deletion is permanent in the application and ends active subscriptions immediately. This differs from ordinary subscription cancellation: your account and library will no longer remain available. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund; the policy above still applies. Historical billing records may remain with Stripe for accounting and legal purposes. See our Privacy Policy for data handling.

8. Acceptable use and suspension

Do not use Vasvel for unlawful content, infringement, malware, harassment, unauthorized access or attempts to bypass security and rate limits. We may limit or suspend access to address abuse, security incidents or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the issue and provide a way to contact support. Copyright concerns should identify the work, the material at issue, your authority to report it and a contact address, and be sent to support@vasvel.com.

9. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Vasvel reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete capture or error-free AI output. Keep your own copies of material essential to your work. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

We will identify material changes to these terms in the application or by email before they take effect. You may stop using the service and cancel future renewals if you do not agree. Delaware law governs these terms except where mandatory protections in your jurisdiction apply. Contact support@vasvel.com first if a dispute arises; these terms do not require private arbitration or waive mandatory consumer remedies.
